Relocating squirels?

squirrels in the atticRelocating squirels?
Get a havahart trap and bait it with peanut butter or apple pieces or acorns. Check it daily or when you hear a noise up there. Put the trap in a brown paper bag to quiet the squirrel and then drive it to a place more than three miles away from your home. Tip the trap over and the squirrel is relocated.

Do it soon because the squirrels in the attic can make a horrible mess and rip up everything.

When you have the attic empty seal up the openings they came in through.Relocating squirels?
use live traps baited with salted peanuts(in the shell). Once you catch them bring them to a wooded area like a conservation area or park etc. Once you've removed them get up in the attic and put wire mesh over any air vents to keep any more from getting in.
Yep. you can move them from the attic to the stove!Yummm, fricasseed squirrel, that's mighty fine cookin'
purchase a have-a-heart trap, bait it and wait...then take FAR away and release
Rich Z is not kidding when he said he did alot. Last year I relocated over two dozen and every day there were still more. I live on an island and relocated them to a conservation park on the mainland. I am sure they were not swimming back daily over four miles! You have some good answers here. Be sure to fix it where they cannot get back in. They destroyed most of my Christmas decorations in my attic. They ate through the cedar siding to get in!!! I guess I have a love/hate relationship with them. They are cute but evil. Good luck.
