Do squirels lay eggs?

my friend said they are birds i thought they were mammalsDo squirels lay eggs?
Of course they lay eggs. Just like dolphins and elephants.Do squirels lay eggs?
you are thinking of the flying squirrels. they are a bird with wings that are attached to their feet and have small feathers that resemble fur. as well as what looks like a fuzzy tail due to the down type feathers. since their wings are attached to their feet it is hard to fly in any direction but straight so they use their tail like a rutter to guide them they look alot like squirrels and are they only bird to have a beak completely covered with feathers. people used to think they were bats but they tested their dna and discovered they are a bird which is closely related to the penguin and the cuckoo.

they believe that this is the ancestor to many mammals however and possible the closest link from birds and mammals. this animal gave rise to the duck billed platypus as well as the common squirrel.

the flying squirrel is also the only animal that can eat the rare goo-goo berry from mars as well as withstand extremely high temperatures up to 2,000 Celsius because of this scientists believe that this animal came in on the meteor that killed the dinosaurs.
can i have some of the gear your mate was smoking when he walked across the swimming pool the other night, and said squirrels are tweakies, powerfully stuff, does he also breast feed his pet ferret, cackleburries are the sole prerogative of the feathered variety of tweakies, turtles etc lay eggs with no shells, next news rabbits ell be laying eggs, and playing pool!
Yes, they lay eggs, but not in the traditional sense: squirrels, like most Aves, spit them out of their esophagal lining and hold them in their cheeks like they would nuts. Hence their large, nut-carrying cheeks. Most believe they are for carrying nuts alone!
the only mamal that lays eggs is the duckbilled platypus
ask your friend where is squirrels wings ???

They absolutely do not because they are mammals. The only mammals that lay eggs are monotremes, which consist of the platypus and four species of echidna.
