Do squirels remember where they hide their nuts?

No, that's why they write down all the buried nuts locations.

Whilst they're very good at writing, sadly they cannot read, so the nuts get lost.

Not only can squirrels not read their own handwriting, but no other animals can either so they cannot help. Voles would if they could, but squirrels writing looks like knitting to them.Do squirels remember where they hide their nuts?
Not always, and this helps propogate new trees!Do squirels remember where they hide their nuts?
Judging by the sprouting mini-oaks in my garden the silly things don't renenber
all though cute not the smartest annimal
i guess they wouldn't do it if they kept forgetting. assuming they remembered they buried it to begin with. if not, there would be millions of nuts hidden in the forest!
Brown squirrels do, they're smart, but them horrible grey (American) ones don't remember where they hide them. They are pretty thick and nick all the nuts off the brown squirels.
NO!!! If they did, the little ****** wouldn't keep digging up my grass.
