i have a lake home that has been vacant and some kind of varment has taken up residence it the home is in the woods and i have put out several boxes of decon and they sre still emptying the boxes helpHow can you kill possums, racoons squirels that have infested a home?
well the way I see it you got two choices

one

you can call all the hillbillies you know and tell them you have an all you can eat buffet at your place. catch your own dinner as it were...

more seriously get a bunch of insect foggers not the spray the fogger! say three per room min.set them off and get out! come back the next day and you should be varmint free but to stay that way you'll need to patch all the holes they made getting in.How can you kill possums, racoons squirels that have infested a home?
find some natural poison and spray ur house have a trap with food outside
if nobody is there, pour a bottle of ammonium into a pan and put it in the attic, that will keep everything away, but only if nobody is living there, it could cause neurological problems if exposed to humans for a long period of time. once they are gone, seal up their entrance. you do not want to poison, because if you do and they decompose in the attic (or worse in the wall) you will have a really nasty mes to clean up.
Get yourself a live trap and keep busy.
Dog food soaked in antifreeze.
are you sure the varmint isn't two legged? if you live in an area where snakes live , i would be plugging up some holes.
It is hard to keep a unlived in house up. A 22 long rifle is the best bet along with traps for when you are not there. The poison might mean that they go back into what ever part of the house and die. Can you say stink. Call the animal control for more ideas.
traps are the most humane way, you can always use poison but I would n't.
well if you find your .357 magnum to be too loud try a .410 ga.SS
I'd recommend not killing them but calling animal control or a service that will get them safely out. After all, it was their home before the house was ever built.
